GRAINZYME, a platform by Agrivida, embeds beneficial feed enzymes such as phytase directly into corn kernels. By replacing a portion of conventional corn with GRAINZYME corn, livestock producers and feed formulators can deliver enzymes more naturally and efficiently, improving digestibility, feed conversion, and environmental outcomes. The approach reduces reliance on fermentation-based enzyme production and simplifies logistics from farm to feed mill. Initial products include GRAINZYME corn with phytase, with a pipeline of additional enzyme traits planned.
